The quartet of Emedike Clare, Amola Itunuoluwa, Ibrahim Damilola and Oyelami Damilola of Federal Polytechnic, Ede in Osun State, have emerged winners of a debate contest organised by the Women Association of Quantity Surveyors of Nigeria for tertiary institutions in the South-West.
This was made known in a statement issued by the Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr John Adekolawole, who explained that the programme was mainly for female students of the Quantity Surveying Department.
“It was an inter-tertiary institution competition for schools in Oyo, Osun and Ondo states which constitute South West, Zone 3 that are offering Quantity Surveying. The debate featured Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Federal University of Technology, Akure and The Polytechnic, Ibadan. The Federal Poly, Ede came first in the group,” Adekolawole disclosed.
