Ede Poly Students Rendered Homeless Following A Heavy Rainstorm (Photos)

The students of the Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State have been rendered homeless by a rainstorm.

The students who lost most of their belongings to the downpour, which commenced late at 7pm on Tuesday till 8:40pm.

Some of the victims affected by the incident were the Estate Management and Computer Science students of Federal polytechnic Ede.

NAIJAPARRY learnt that most of the students were asleep when the heavy rain, accompanied by a strong wind, commenced .

The students were said to have woken up to discover that there room is already fill up with the rain water .

One of the students , who identified herself simply as Oyin , told our correspondent on Tuesday that the students in the affected hostel rendered homeless .

She said , “As I am talking to you , we are homeless. Our foams were soaked by the rain, we lost so many properties which were damaged by the rain.

“ After we managed to put our rain soaked belongings together, we had to look for places to pass the remainder of the night . ”

Although no life was lost during the incident, but the rainstorm left the students in a confused state.
